
The album traces the birth of American broadcasting: on Christmas Eve 1906, Reginald Fessenden astonished sailors by sending the first human voice and a violin performance of O Holy Night over the airwaves. Four years later, The Metropolitan Opera in one of radio’s earliest opera broadcasts featuring Enrico Caruso. By the 1920s, the radio was a part of every household. Our 2026 flagship project captures this pivotal moment in history through music, including favorites like "My blue heaven" and "Someone to watch over me".
Radio Days is produced by Grammy-nominated artist Jeff Trott, with arrangements by Academy Award-winning pianist and arranger Patrick Warren. Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with vocalists Norman Reinhardt and Soula Parassidis, the album brings the sound, scale and glamour of early radio into a new recording project for contemporary audiences.
